The Bahco PG19 Expert Telescopic Bypass Loppers are professional-grade cutting tools designed for pruning and trimming branches up to 40mm in diameter. These telescopic loppers feature lightweight silver aluminium handles that extend from 65cm to 90cm, providing versatile reach for different cutting applications without the need for ladders or overstretching. The bypass cutting mechanism delivers a clean, precise slicing action that's ideal for maintaining healthy growth on live wood, making these loppers particularly suitable for arborists, groundskeepers and landscape gardeners. The high-grade steel blade is fully hardened for lasting sharpness and durability, and can be replaced when necessary to extend the tool's working life. Bahco has incorporated practical features throughout the design, including a quarter-turn locking system that allows quick adjustment of the handle length, and an exchangeable rubber buffer to absorb cutting impact. The bi-material grips combine orange polypropylene with soft black thermoplastic elastomer for comfortable handling during extended use, helping to reduce hand fatigue on demanding jobs.
